The Effingham City Zoning Board of Appeals granted two variances at this week's meeting.

The Board granted a setback variance for a swimming pool at 605 E. St. Louis Avenue.

Paul and Denise Willenborg sought the variance to allow construction of a pool at a distance of eight-tenths of a foot from the east lot line.

Board members also granted a size variance for an accessory building at 1101 Lynn Drive.

Terry and Robin Westendorf sought the variance to allow construction of an addition to an existing accessory building, increasing the size to 2,800 square feet.
