Dieterich school board members this week approved the district Return to School plan, and the district Remote Learning plan. Both plans are available for review at dieterichschools.org.

The Board approved a facility assessment proposal from The Upchurch Group to provide a detailed overview and maintenance schedule for the buildings; amended the school calendar for the coming year to make Election Day on November 3 a school holiday; purchased a mower for $11,850; and approved an E-Rate project to improve up on the fiber infrastructure within the building with E-Rate reimbursing the district 60% of the total cost of the project.

In personnel moves, Dieterich board members accepted resignations from Hope Watts as district Music instructor and Kristen Allen as high school assistant volleyball coach; approved maternity leave requests for Mindy Worman and Debbie Bower; and hired Lauren Fowler as a guidance counselor.
