St. Elmo school board members this week approved a tentative return-to-school plan, and appointed Superintendent Julie Healy to start work on a budget for the coming school year.

The Board approved an intergovernmental agreement with the City of St. Elmo; approved the calendar for the coming school year; approved the sale of district surplus property; accepted a request of an unpaid leave of absence for the coming school year for Ken Berg; and employed Brittani Durbin as junior high and high school softball coach.
