Teutopolis school board members this week approved the district's COVID-19 Return to In-Person Instruction Plan and Remote Learning Plan as presented by Superintendent Matt Sturgeon.

Board members also amended the school district calendar for the coming year to include the November 3 Election Day as a school holiday, pushing back the end of the school year by one day.

In personnel moves, the Teutopolis board approved Kari Thompson's resignation as school counselor; approved Leighton Lark as a high school boys basketball volunteer coach; and hired Jeffrey (Todd) Stewart as a full-time bus driver, Crystal Tipton as junior high softball assistant coach, Morgan Mette as high school cross country aide, Carla Deters as high school and athletic secretary, and Craig Toler as high school Driver's Ed teacher.
