Cumberland County Judge Jonathan Braden has tested positive for COVID-19.

5th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Mitchell Shick issued a statement that his office was notified Thursday afternoon that Judge Braden and at least one other court employee had tested positive. Judge Braden is at home and asymptomatic at this time.

Courthouse employees in Cumberland County who have had contact with those employees who have tested positive have been notified by the Cumberland County Health Department and are required to seek testing and quarantine for at least 10 days.

The Cumberland County Courthouse in Toledo is undergoing deep cleaning in all spaces and will be closed to the public until Monday, August 3.

The Circuit Clerk's office will notify parties of any rescheduling of court dates during this period of time.
