Altamont resident Adam Reynolds reported to Effingham County Jail Tuesday to begin a four-year prison term for possession of methamphetamine.

The 32-year-old Reynolds pleaded guilty to a 2019 felony offense for meth. Reynolds will remain in jail until the Illinois Department of Corrections begins accepting inmates. The Department is holding off on receiving new inmates due to COVID-19.

Reynolds also received a four-year sentence for meth possession from a 2018 case, as well.
