Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on I-57 south of Neoga.

Illinois State Police report a van driven by 67-year-old Nancy Harrington of Freeport was southbound five miles south of Neoga just after 9am. For an unknown reason, Harrington swerved off the roadway to the left. The van overturned and came to rest on its roof in the median.

Harrington and her two passengers, 66-year-old Gregory Reed of Freeport and a 10-year-old girl from Monroe, Wisconsin, were injured along with Harrington. All three were taken for treatment; Harrington had to be airlifted from the scene.

No citations have been issued; State Police had to route southbound traffic off the interstate for a time onto Route 45.
