One Person Injured in Cumberland County Crash

One person was injured in a Cumberland County crash.

A SUV and a truck collided on Illinois Route 130 at County Road 900 North at 7:06am Monday.

Illinois State Police reported the SUV driven by 33-year-old Kyle Stewart of Charleston was southbound on the highway, while the truck driven by 24-year-old Clinton Barnhart of Kankakee was northbound on the highway. Stewart's SUV crossed the center line and struck Barnhart's vehicle.

Barnhart was injured and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. 

Illinois 130 was reduced to one lane traffic for about an hour following the crash.

Stewart was cited for improper lane usage.
