Positive COVID-19 Cases Statewide Back Up to 1,384 Friday

The number of positive Coronavirus disease cases in Illinois was back up to 1,384 Friday.

The Illinois Department of Public Health said 22 additional confirmed COVID-related deaths were reported statewide in that same 24-hour period. No COVID-related deaths were reported in any area counties.

IDPH also reported a second consecutive day of more than 40,000 tests reported in the state, and the percentage of positive tests as a percentage of tests conducted over the past seven days was at an even 3%.
