A red hot weekend is on the way for the area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory that will be in effect from Noon Saturday to 7pm Sunday. The Heat Index on Saturday could range from 105 to 110 degrees.

Here's the outlook:

You are encouraged to stay hydrated, find shade or an air conditioned room, and check on the elderly, children and pets.
