Number of Positive COVID-19 Cases Falls Tuesday in Illinois

The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Illinois fell again Tuesday for the second consecutive day.
707 confirmed cases were reported in the state during the 24-hour period that ended at 2pm Tuesday. There were 25 COVID-19 related deaths in the state reported during that period.
There was one additional positive case reported in Coles County, and one in Fayette County, a female in her 40s.
Over the past seven days, the percentage of positive cases in the state compared to the total cases is 3%.
