SUV Crash Results in Fatality in Clark County (UPDATE)

An early morning crash in Clark County Tuesday has resulted in the death of the driver.

Killed in the crash was 64-year-old Carl Napier of Marshall.

The crash happened at 5:40am on US Route 40 at County Road 2200 East. Police say the SUV was traveling west on Route 40 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a ditch, then flipped end over end multiple times, ejecting Napier from the vehicle. Clark County Coroner Jeff Pearce pronounced Napier dead at the scene of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
