Details Released on Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident

Effingham city police have released information on a vehicle/pedestrian accident that occurred last week in the city.

The incident occurred on June 24 just before 6:30pm at 1110 Wenthe Drive. City police say a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Amanda Arther of Effingham backed up and struck 30-year-old Daniel Arther. 

Daniel Arther was injured and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. 

There were no citations issued.
