A Fayette County man has been found not guilty of attempted murder, but was found guilty of aggravated domestic battery at the conclusion of a bench trial Tuesday.

50-year-old Gregory Hill had been charged with injuries to his wife in August of 2017, including a spinal cord injury that resulted in paralysis.

Judge Kevin Parker rendered the verdicts, since a jury was not involved in the trial.

Aggravated domestic battery is a Class 2 felony, punishable by up to three to seven years in prison. Hill is to be sentenced the afternoon of August 5. Judge Parker revoked Hill's bond, meaning he will remain in custody until sentencing.
