St. Elmo School Board Holds June Meeting

St. Elmo school board members Monday approved an amended budget for the fiscal year, and approved elementary school student handbook changes.

The Board authorized administrators to purchase a compact tractor for up to $28,000; awarded the District insurance contract for the new fiscal year; and approved the student fee schedule for the coming school year.

Bids were awarded for milk, bread and fuel; a contract was approved for speech therapy services; and two personnel moves were approved; Dena Beccue was employed as junior/senior high school AER Monitor and Kearstin Scoles was employed as junior high cheerleading sponsor.
