COVID-19 Seven-Day Statewide Positivity Rate Drops to 2%

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced Sunday 658 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 23 additional confirmed deaths.The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced Sunday 658 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 23 additional confirmed deaths.

As of Sunday at 2:00pm the IDPH is reporting a total of 136,762 cases, including 6,647 deaths, in 101 counties in Illinois. Laboratories have reported 23,816 specimens for a total of 1,360,784.  The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from June 14–June 20 has now dropped to 2%.
