Bond has been reduced for a drug-induced homicide defendant.

49-year-old Darnell Whitehead of Effingham is accused of selling drugs to a 25-year-old Effingham man that led to the man's death last October. Drug-induced homicide is a Class X felony, punishable by six to 30 years in prison. Probation is not an option.
