Beecher City Board Covers Several Subjects

The Beecher City School Board met last night and covered a variety of subjects.

They approved the amended budget as presented in the hearing that took place just ahaed of the reugular board meeting. 

Non-certified staff were given an average raise of 1.96% while an average raise of 2.0% was approved for administrative salaries. Morgan Luttrell, was hired as certified staff and Tanner Thompson was hired as the  varsity boys’ basketball coach for the 2020-2021 school year.

The resignation of Lynelle Wachtel as the grade school head teacher was accepted and then Consuela Lorton was approved as the grade school head teacher.

In other business the board also appproved the rock and chip work at the Jr./Sr. High School, replacing the cooling tower fan motor at the grade school, and the Coop agreement through the 2021-2022 school year as presented.
