School's out officially, but in-person education has been done for months.
Kids across Illinois haven't been in regular classrooms since early March, and that leaves plenty of people asking questions about what the coming school year looks like and whether kids will be back.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker said he understands that students, parents, and school teachers all want to know what classes will look like when school resumes.
Pritzker said, "I am determined to get kids back in school, but we want to do it safely. We have our epidemiologists and Department of Public Health as well as the State Board of Education working very hard on what the guidelines would be, and you'll be hearing about that very shortly."
