Teutopolis school board members Monday approved the Upchurch Group proceeding with completing construction drawings on a weight room at the high school building.
The Board also agreed for the weight room to be located west of J.H. Griffin Gym and the new locker room. The area will be available since the original portions of the high school building are being demolished.
The Board also directed that the completed drawings be given to Swingler Construction, the firm doing the lion's share of the high school project work.
Board members also directed new Teutopolis Superintendent Matt Sturgeon to obtain additional bids to repair the previous locker room floor on the second floor, based on previously provided drawings. Sturgeon was also authorized to accept and authorize the lowest bid.
