Effingham Noon Rotary has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, just like every other person and organization.

It's been disappointing as this is the club's 100th anniversary and no meetings were held for more than two months. The group held its first meeting since March on Wednesday, and got word that a committee of Rotarians were successful in getting Rotary signs put in place at three entrances to Effingham. One sign is located along Illinois Route 33 for eastbound traffic, another is located along Illinois Routes 32-33 for southbound traffic near Ford Avenue, and the third is along US Route 45 for southbound traffic near B&B Homes.

A portion of the sign celebrating the club's 100th anniversary is detachable, extending the useful life of the sign.
