Democrat Filing for County Board in Altamont Area

There will be a contest for the Effingham County Board seat from District F in November.

Anthony Robertson filed Monday as the Democrat candidate. Monday was the deadline for candidates to file for the November ballot if there was no candidate for the office in the primary.

Robertson will oppose Elizabeth Huston in the November election. Huston won the Republican primary over Bruce Kessler. Jeff Simpson, the incumbent, is not seeking re-election.
