City Police, Sheriff's Department Report No Activity Locally Related to Unrest Elsewhere

Some social media posts are indicating problems locally related to protests elsewhere in the nation, but those are inaccurate; there is no activity here.

We have checked with both the Effingham City Police Department and with the Effingham County Sheriff's Department, and both agencies say nothing is going on locally.
