Trial Continued by COVID-19 for Suspect in Hollinshead's Death

The trial of the man charged in the shooting death of Effingham County native Stacia Hollinshead has been delayed by concerns over the coronavirus disease.

A June trial date had been thought likely in the case of Ulisses Medina Espinosa, Hollinshead's ex-husband. A spokesman for the Dodge County, Wisconsin prosecutor's office Monday said COVID-19 has delayed trials, and said it could be Fall before the trial is re-scheduled. 

Medina Espinosa is charged with first degree intentional homicide in Hollinshead's death in March of 2019.
