Semi and Truck Collide in Cumberland County

Travel on westbound I-70 in Cumberland County was disrupted by a crash Sunday morning.

The crash happened just before 4:30am about four miles east of Greenup.

State police report a semi driven by 27-year-old Osvaldo Cedre of Laredo, Texas overturned in the middle of the westbound lanes after Cedre lost control of the rig. A truck driven by 52-year-old Janeria Scott of Harper Woods, Michigan then struck the underside of the overturned rig.

Scott and her passenger, 29-year-old Gilbert Clark of Waco, Texas, were injured and were transported for treatment.

The left lane of westbound I-70 was shut down for several hours Sunday for recovery and clean-up.
