EHS Senior Celebration Draws Big Crowd

Effingham High School is still planning on holding a 2020 graduation ceremony on July 19, but held a Senior Celebration on Sunday, which was the original graduation date this year.

A great turnout slowed the process of recognizing the seniors by members of the public, but no one appeared to mind, although that also pushed back the start of the individual recognition of the graduates, which involved a photo and receipt of their diploma in front of the Flaming Heart sculpture in front of the high school.

Thankfully, a gorgeous Sunday afternoon seemed to put most people in a mellow mood.
