Unit 40 Recognizes Recent Retirees

Unit 40 Superintendent Mark Doan took time at Tuesday's school board meeting to recognize recently-retired District employees. Those recognized are anyone who had retired since the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

Those recognized include:

--teacher Becky Parker, 26 years

--teacher Becky Peno, 30 years

--teacher Mary Dust, 25 years

--guidance counselor Sue Ann Minor, 23 years

--teacher Jamie Jennings, 33 years

--bookkeeper Gerri Cochran, 34 years

--bus aide/cashier Charlotte West, 12 years

--secretary Sharon Chesnut, 33 years

--head cook Dawn Byrum, 20 years

--guidance counselor Jennifer Fruchtl, 28 years

--music teacher Linda Richards, 23 years

--bus driver Joe Freimuth, 19 years

--head custodian Greg Lankford, 27 years
