2,352 New Coronavirus Cases Saturday, 75 Deaths

The Illinois Department of Public Health Saturday reported 2,352 new cases of coronavirus disease. 75 additional deaths were reported statewide, 59 from Cook County.

There were no deaths from area counties. 

The latest as far as positive cases of COVID-19 in area counties:

Shelby--16

Coles--98

Cumberland--10

Jasper--45

Clay--two

Fayette--20

Within the 24 hours ending at 2pm Saturday, laboratories reported 25,114 specimens. The statewide seven-day rolling positivity rate is 13%.
