Altamont Man Given Prison Time for Grooming

An Altamont man has been given prison time for grooming.

21-year-old Jeremy Christy was arrested last year. He pled guilty in January 

Judge Allan Lolie sentenced Christy to three years in prison, plus one year mandatory supervised release once out of prison. He was given credit for 76 days served while awaiting disposition of his case.

The mother of the victim in the case read an impact statement before sentence was imposed.
