IDPH Announces 2,268 New Cases of Coronavirus Disease Thursday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday announced 2,268 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois. IDPH is also reporting 87 additional deaths.
44 of those deaths were attributed to Cook County.
There were no deaths reported in any area county.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 102,686 cases in the state, including 4,607 deaths.
Coles County Health Department was notified Thursday of four additional laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases. The Department reports that brings the number of confirmed cases in Coles County to 96, with six currently hospitalized, 26 recovered, seven deceased, and 57 recovering.
To date, the total cases associated with Charleston Rehab and Healthcare is 53 confirmed cases. That number includes residents and employees.
