Stew-Stras Board Handles Coaching Assignments

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members Wednesday filled some coaching assignments for the coming school year.

The Board hired Brett Harmeier as high school head baseball coach, hired Gerry Schlechte as 7th grade assistant basketball coach, and hired Jason Vonderheide as junior high assistant baseball coach. Board members also accepted the resignation of Allison McIlwain as high school dance coach.

Stew-Stras board members also approved an intergovernmental cooperative sports agreement with the Windsor school district. The co-op agreement will cover the coming two school years.
