Dieterich Village Board Goes to Flat Rate for Bulk Water Sales

Dieterich village board members voted this week to switch to a flat rate for bulk water sales.

Village Clerk Brittny Gipson said the flat rate of $8.00 per 1,000 gallons of water replaces a tiered water rate structure. Gipson said the flat rate will simplify the purchase process.

The Board also approved release of a lot for private development in North Pointe Subdivision, and discussed in closed session a possible land sale, but there was no open session action.
