August trial dates have been set for Christopher Glass of Mason and Aaron Kaiser of Beecher City, charged in the death of Kimberly Mattingly.

(GLASS)

Probable cause was found by Judge Allan Lolie to hold Glass over for trial on three counts of murder for allegedly shooting Mattingly on property owned by Kaiser's parents on April 6. Aaron Kaiser lives on the property. Judge Lolie also found probable cause to hold Glass and Kaiser over for trial on counts of concealment of homicidal death for alleged actions to put Mattingly's body in a pit and cover it with a tarp and dirt following the shooting.

Illinois State Police Special Agent Windy Westfall testified that an autopsy revealed that gunshot wounds were the cause of Mattingly's death. Westfall also testified that when questioned by police about the incident that Glass admitted shooting Mattingly and that Kaiser admitted assisting Glass in disposing of the body.

Judge Lolie scheduled a trial date of August 24 for both Glass and Kaiser, with a final pre-trial hearing on August 13.

(KAISER)

The judge also denied a request to reduce Kaiser's $750,000 bond, noting Kaiser has six prior failures to appear in court on his record and that he was out on conditional discharge for another offense at the time of Mattingly's death.

Glass remains in custody under $5 million bond.
