Democrats to Have Top Spot on County Ballot in November

Democratic Party candidates will appear first on the Effingham County ballot in the November 3 general election. 

The random selection to determine order of placement on the ballot was held Thursday morning in the office of Effingham County Clerk and Election Authority Kerry Hirtzel.

Republican Party candidates will appear second on county ballots. If there are any other parties, their candidates will follow.
