46 COVID-Related Deaths Statewide Reported Monday

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 46 COVID-related deaths statewide Monday. That marks two consecutive days of a decline in deaths.

21 of the deaths occurred in Cook County.

IDPH reported 2,341 positive cases of coronavirus disease in the state in a 24-hour period, down about 600 cases from the previous 24-hour period.

There were no deaths in any area county, nor were there any new positive cases in the area.
