Three teenagers were taken for treatment from the scene of a crash on I-70 westbound at the St. Elmo interchange Sunday night.

State police report a car, for unknown reasons, swerved to the right and struck the right guardrail just after 8pm. The car came to rest across both lanes of the interstate.

Three juveniles from St. Louis, two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old, were taken for treatment. The driver, 22-year-old Shemika Hightower of St. Louis, refused medical attention.
