2,563 New Coronavirus Cases in Illinois Reported Thursday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday reported 2,563 new cases of coronavirus disease in the state. The report included 141 additional deaths. 91 of the deaths were from Cook County.

21 deaths were from DuPage County, and 10 deaths from Lake County.

There are no new deaths from area counties.

Brown County is now reporting a case.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 52,918 cases, including 2,355 deaths, in 97 counties in Illinois.
