COVID-19 Numbers from Area Counties

Here are numbers on COVID-19 cases and testing in area counties, as of this week:
EFFINGHAM COUNTY--
75 tests have been conducted; five positive cases (a reminder that tests might have also been conducted at private labs that aren't reflected in the numbers obtained from the Effingham County Health Department)
FAYETTE COUNTY--
119 tested; 15 positive cases; two deaths
CLAY COUNTY--
69 tested; 61 negative; two positive; six cases pending
JASPER COUNTY--
121 tested; 73 negative; 36 positive; 12 cases pending; two deaths; one hospitalized; one recovered
CUMBERLAND COUNTY--
54 tested; two positives (both have recovered); 48 negatives; four cases pending
SHELBY COUNTY--
no other numbers available, but the county did record its fifth positive case this week
Additionally, Coles County Health Department reported today the first COVID-19 death in Coles County. No other information was released.
