Shelby County Reports 5th Positive COVID-19 Test

The Shelby County Health Department Thursday reported the fifth Shelby County resident to test positive for the COVID-19 virus. 

The Health Department reports the resident is an 87-year-old female and is currently self-isolating at home in Shelby County. The resident was tested at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville and immediately ordered to self-isolate. 

Health Department officials are working to identify all close contacts with this individual.
