St. Elmo school board members Wednesday acted on several personnel matters.

The Board employed Morgan Stremming as high school guidance counselor, hired Laura Somodi as elementary music teacher, hired Colton Henry as high school agriculture teacher, re-employed support staff for the coming school year, and re-employed coaches and sponsors for the coming year.

Board members also discussed end-of-year activities, and then voted to re-schedule high school graduation to May 23. Additional information will be shared soon.

The Board voted to refund each senior student $100, and an additional $350 to each senior that planned to take the Senior Trip. All funds will be paid out of the Senior Class Activity Fund.

Board members agreed to advertise for bids on district roof projects, and approved a contract with Archway Industrial Coatings. Also approved was the district's consolidated plan, and membership in the Illinois Elementary School Association.
