Unit 40 Board Expels Student

The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education Friday expelled a student.

The decision came during a noon hour meeting at the Unit offices.

The vote was to expel the student for the balance of this school year and through the first semester of the 2013-2014 school year.

The names of those expelled are not released by the district.
