Fayette County Reports First Death From COVID-19

On Easter Sunday, Fayette County has confirmed their first death from COVID-19.

In a release, Melissa Storck, administrator of the Fayette County Health Department, said a woman in her 90s living in a congregate facility had died of the virus.

Six individuals in the same facility have tested positive for COVID-19.

Fayette County reports a total of 70 people tested for COVID-19, with 11 confirmed positive.
