Cowden-Herrick school board members Thursday awarded bids for campus repairs.

The Board awarded a bid for tuckpointing work on the Herrick Elementary School building to Mason Masonry, accepted a bid from Effingham Asphalt for drainage work at the Cowden campus, and okayed a bid from Irwin's Roofing to replace the second half of the high school gym roof.

Board members also accepted the resignation of Jeremy Rinkel at the end of the school year, and approved the principal contracts of Tina Oldham and Brett Boehm for the coming two school years. The Board also employed Rebecca Dixon to teach junior/senior high school English.
