Strasburg Has Different Sort of Census Underway

Attention all Strasburg residents:

In 2010, the first-ever Gnome Census was conducted in Strasburg with volunteers canvassing the town door-to-door. The group counted 405 gnomes in town. The Strasburg Community Action Network members were ready to canvass the town again in 2020, but plans have changed due to the coronavirus.

SCAN is now asking each village resident to count the gnomes that live at their residence and submit the number to the village clerk by Monday, April 13. Please include your name, physical address that number of gnomes at your home. Please email the Village at info@strasburgil.com or phone them at 217-644-3007.

Again, April 13 is the deadline!
