The man who reportedly led police on a more than 200-mile chase through much of Illinois Friday afternoon has been identified as a Wisconsin man.

Police say 44-year-old Justin Keuhl of Tomah, Wisconsin, has been charged in White County with possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated reckless driving, along with other offenses.

Keuhl allegedly stole a vehicle in Peoria and led officers south to Effingham, east to Montrose, south to US Route 50 and into White County where stop sticks stopped the vehicle at Albion.

Keuhl is being held in White County Jail at Carmi.
