Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker Tuesday said the state is "a long way" from standing down on the orders in place concerning COVID-19.
Pritzker was asked the "stand down" question during the daily press briefing to announce new numbers as far as cases and deaths occurring in Illinois.
The governor was reminded that there are parts of the state that have had no or few positive cases and whether we are getting to where standing down could be an option in those areas.
Prizker said, "You have growth in cases, in counties, and in deaths. We are a long way from standing down on these orders."
