Stew-Stras Board Maintains Same Student Fees

Stewardson-Strasburg school board members voted to keep student fees for the coming school year at the same level as the current school year.

The Board also approved the calendar for the coming year, and voted to include students from Trinity Lutheran School in Stewardson in the junior high school band.

Board members voted to approve an intergovernmental agreement with the Windsor school district to share certified personnel for the coming school year.

In personnel moves, the Stew-Stras board accepted the resignation of Shane Smith as assistant junior high baseball coach and assistant junior high basketball coach; approved the hiring of Courtney Wittenberg as a part-time high school English teacher for the coming school year; and approved hiring Brett Harmeier as high school PE and Driver's Ed teacher for the coming school year.
