The legalization of the purchase of marijuana in Illinois has spurred many questions as to where and when it can be used.

Effingham County State's Attorney Bryan Kibler was on hand at the March 4 meeting of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club to answer some of those questions. Kibler was the guest of his father, Noon Rotarian Sid Kibler.

The meeting also saw the induction of Chris and Beth Debolt, owners of Effingham's Culver's Frozen Custard and Butterburgers restaurant, as Noon Rotary members. They were sponsored by club member Norbert Soltwedel.

Also on hand was Rotary weekly student guest Keyara Wilkinson, daughter of Kristy Presbrey and Joe Wilkinson and a senior at Effingham High School. Keyara plans to live in the Southeast to pursue studies in Marine Biology.
