The bond of James Dierkes was modified Wednesday to allow contact between him and his two minor children.
The 29-year-old Dierkes is charged in Fayette County with numerous charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and criminal sexual assault. The offenses allegedly occurred while Dierkes was working at Okaw Area Vocational Center in Vandalia in 2016.
Judge Kevin Parker modified the bond conditions to allow Dierkes to have supervised video monitoring for him and the two minor children.
Dierkes is next due in court on March 31. No trial date has been set.
Dierkes is being held under $1 million bond.
