Edgewood Woman Injured in Monday Morning Crash

An Edgewood woman was injured in a crash south of Effingham just after 9:00 Monday morning.

44-year-old Amanda Frazier was northbound on I-57, two miles south of the Fayette Avenue interchange when her van drove off the roadway and up an embankment.

Frazier received what authorities termed minor injuries and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham by Abbott Ambulance. 

Frazier was cited for improper lane usage.
